Megan is a Speech Language Pathologist with Genesis Rehab Services in the Frederick, MD area. She works in both a skilled nursing facility as well as an outpatient setting in an assisted living
community. Working with the adult and geriatric population, Megan treats many communication disorders that are common among the geriatric community, especially with stroke victims. On any given shift
she can be treating swallowing difficulties, cognitive and memory disorders, and most often speech and voice disorders. Megan's advice to interested students is to put yourself out there and
network as much as possible. Connections will lead to professional growth and, possibly, jobs.
