Mark is the Principal of Edgewater High School in Orange County, Florida. After spending the first leg of his career teaching elementary education, Mark turned his attention to administration where he felt he could have a bigger impact on the education of his community. When not in meetings with teachers, parents, or community officials, Mark can be found welcoming students off the morning buses or walking the halls to stay informed on what students are learning. As many teachers know, Mark's day is a long one. Once the final bell rings he's still an active leader and participant on and off campus, attending sports games, acting in the school play, and even taking some of his students shopping for prom suits.
