>> I think I started out in the
past loving history and then as I,
especially here at Millersville, as I was going
through that history and then I graduated,
I really realized that I loved museum
collections just from growing up,
just from even age five, going to museums
and seeing collections and seeing items.
I realized that's what I really loved.
So I do love the history but
I love the items themselves
and I really love to work with them at my job.
It's really awesome.
I would say the hardest thing is trying to
explain to people why they can't touch things
or trying to enforce the rules and the policies.
It's, it is difficult for
people to grasp the concept
of why they can't just set their hand
somewhere or touch something or, it's hard.
But I try my best to really go into detail
and well this will happen
if we, you know, touch this.
