>> I love being an alma mater of Temple.
I love to see the progress that's been made.
But leaving New York and my mom as a single
parent, I didn't want to go too far away
from her, but I did want to go
to a city, like a major city.
And I felt Temple was far away enough
from New York where it was like,
"I can't go home every weekend," well, I
could but, you know, not too close as well --
an ability to give me an
experience from another city.
So -- as well as I got small academic
scholarship when I applied, so that helped.
Any little bit always helps.
So yeah. So I applied to Temple.
I knew they had a great kinesiology program,
because that's what I majored in at the time,
and got in, got my academic
scholarship, and let's go.
