>> Well, actually, I've been in this area
all my life, because my father is a botanist.
And my mother was an avid gardener,
and my grandparents gardened.
So, as you can probably hear,
I grew up in England.
And so, you know, there's a cliche that
we do -- a lot of us do garden over there.
And the climate is more, you know, it's more
easy to, you know, to garden there as well.
When it was time to go to University,
then I studied Biology first.
And then I got my post graduate degree as
-- for teaching, and I became a teacher.
And then my -- I met my American
husband, moved to this country.
And then went back to school to
Temple, and got my Temple degree.
So -- in horticulture -- and
just carried on from there.
And I've always loved horticulture.
I've always grown plants
and been an avid gardener.
So, it was just really another
step along that way.
