>> Advice for up and comers
the talent pool is huge.
It seems like everybody wants
to be a designer nowadays.
It's a really tough industry to get into,
I mean, there's tons of jobs but you have
to be gritty about the way
you approach the job market.
A good resume would consist
of a solid portfolio.
So your resume has to look decent
like it should be laid out clean.
It should be friendly.
It should clearly tell me what your skillsets
are but I think bigger than that is a portfolio.
So you should probably have a website or
you should have your portfolio on a website
that shows that you have some digital
chops because that's going to become,
I mean, it is necessary nowadays.
You can't really get a job as a
designer just as a print designer.
You have to be really great or have lots
of experience to do something like that.
So I would suggest setting yourself up with
a resume, a portfolio on a site like Behance.
If you're not comfortable building
your own website use Behance
or there's another site called
Krop that's K-r-o-p.
Sites like that are sort of like a blog.
They help you kind of build a layout.
They have templates for you to use
and you can just upload your artwork
and like I said just be on
point with your portfolio.
