>> I think it is important to have what
you call sort of emotional intelligence,
and understand yourself and your strengths
so that you can bring those strengths forward
to the company that you are working with.
Some people think I've got to
take a job offer after college,
and if I make the wrong decision
my whole career is going to derail.
That is not true, right?
They take a job offer, you
do the best that you can.
You hope that you've made the right decision,
and if it is not the right place for you
in a couple of years you
go somewhere else, right?
Not everyone stays at a company as long
as I have stayed with mine, but you know,
no decision is the final decision.
What what I would perhaps recommend
to people is to say have learning
from every decision you make, right?
So even if you make a decision, you make
a choice that is not optimal for you,
when you pivot off of that, think about
what you have learned from that situation
so that you can take that
and not repeat it, right?
And take the positives, and
apply it for your next choice,
and your next career, your next company.
