>> I guess I would go back to just
talking to as many people as possible.
That was really helpful for me in
my early years right after college,
but I kind of wish I had done it
more when I was actually in college.
Calling up alums, especially at
Pomona, it's -- Alumni are so helpful.
And so willing to have a conversation with you.
And it's -- I think it's the best way that you
can learn about different things and, you know,
especially if you, you know,
growing up didn't have a lot
of exposure to different types of jobs.
You know, I think there were a lot
of things that I sort of wrote off
because I just didn't know that much about it.
But if I had understood a little bit more about
what that job actually entailed and what went
in to the day to day I might have
been more open to those options.
So just talking to people and keeping an
open mind, I think, because you never know --
Like even if you're not immediately interested
in something you might be interested
in it farther down the line.
So keeping those relationships open
and connecting with as many people
as possible I think is like the best
way, at least when you're starting out.
