>> So I went to Pomona College.
I studied psychology as my major
and gender studies as my minor.
I chose Pomona kind of randomly.
I was flipping through a Princeton Review book.
I knew I was from Pennsylvania originally.
I was kind of like familiar with the
Ivy League schools on the East Coast,
and I knew I wanted something sort of different.
So I was looking for a lot of
small liberal arts schools.
I had a really strong interest for
whatever reason in going to the west coast,
even though I'd never been there before.
I just wanted something totally new.
And when I came out to Pomona's campus and
saw what the classes were like and met some
of the professors I was just
like totally in love.
I then worked for a little bit in New
York and decided to go to graduate school.
And I went to Yale School of Management
to get my MBA, my masters of business.
And I decided to do that after I spent a
lot of time talking to other Pomona grads.
And just like various professionals
I had met through my career.
Trying to figure out whether I wanted to do
more of like a public policy type of grad degree
or something more business oriented.
And decided on the business degree because I
thought it would be a little more versatile
in terms of what I would
be able to do afterward.
And chose Yale because there's a
pretty strong focus there on --
It's sometimes like dubbed a non profit
school, but in general I think it's more
of a focus on social impact work.
