I serve as a branch manager for Regents Bank.
I'm currently located in the Southaven,
Mississippi area just below Memphis, Tennessee.
My job entails a number of things.
Primarily I'm responsible for the sales,
service, and operations of my branch,
meaning I have to ensure that it's profitable,
that we're giving great customer service
and that, you know, I'm also responsible for
the career development of everyone on my staff.
I think the main thing that I do that
I take joy in is I have the opportunity
to help customers met their financial
goals and, you know, at the end of the day,
if I help one customer help a dream
of theirs, I've done a good job.
Well, we run about 9000 transactions per
month at my branch, so it's relatively busy,
but the unique thing about that is that for the
most part we see pretty much the same customers
month in and month out so you develop
relationships with those people.
And those relationships are
really what makes it worthwhile.
We have a unique process that we utilize
to ensure that we're giving optimum sales
and service and basically what that entails
is we're making sure that we offer advice,
guidance, and education to
every customer and ensure
that we're helping them reach
their financial goals.
So, whether those goals are--
can be a first-time homebuyer.
Whether those goals are to save for a
college fund or save for retirement.
What my job entails is I
ensure that each and every one
of our associates are having those conversations
to really identify the needs of our customers
and provide solutions to help them meet those.
