>> I love the relationships that I'm able to
build through my job, whether I'm speaking
with our CEO or perhaps one of
the administrative assistants,
who is making our life, you know, so much easier
because of the work that
they do for us and with us.
Whether I'm out in the community meeting a
leader from the community who runs a nonprofit
or perhaps it's the President of a local Chamber
of Commerce, those relationships allow you
to see the world from different perspectives.
And it gives you a chance to understand how
you, not just as part of a company like Toyota
but also as a human being, how
can you contribute to society.
And so there are many challenges.
When you're working for a company as large as
Toyota, and when there are so many expectations
at different levels from different people and
so ensuring that we are delivering every time
and perhaps even over-delivering,
that in itself is a challenge.
It requires focus.
It requires planning.
It requires a strategy.
And so making sure that we
are not letting people down,
that we're going that extra
mile is always a challenge
that we embrace and that we take on head-on.
Personally, a challenge for
me is the life/work balance.
People talk about it all the time, but
it's so much easier said than done.
