>> A definitely good way to prepare for the
career would be kind of getting that experience
and taking what you've learned
in school and applying
that practical application in the workplace.
So being able to manage workloads and understand
priorities is really a great way to come
into a company and be able to succeed.
The college major that I recommend is supply
chain management; that's what I majored in.
It was really helpful and gave me the knowledge
that I needed to apply in that work setting.
And then I would definitely recommend a co-op.
When I was co-oping, I co-op'd with a CPG
company so I really kind of fell in love
with that type of company and knew
that's what I wanted to do long term.
And then the six months allows you enough
time to really truly learn that company
and what the daily work would be
if you worked there full time.
