I get to, everyday, use both of my
degrees to educate and empower people
to become more disaster resilient.
It's also nice to, you know, get to
reach people on a level of understanding
and having them appreciate the message that I'm
putting out to them and trying to help them.
What's a job without challenges and
that's what makes your job interesting.
Day to day challenges for me in my job, I have
to work with different government agencies
to come together to work towards a common
purpose and sometimes that can be challenging.
You know, not knowing peoples schedules
and not knowing peoples workflow,
which is why group work in college, you know,
is a useful skill and a useful use of time.
Other challenges are using
time management skills
to prioritize different work projects
based on how you would prioritize them
and how your supervisor prioritizes them.
