>> My name is Emily Borshetta [phonetic].
I work for the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society, the New Jersey Metro Chapter.
And I graduated from Rutgers in 2011 and
currently I hold the title of Manager
of Communications and Volunteer Engagement.
Well, I actually just transitioned
to that role in October.
So it's kind of a new merged role.
So I take care of all of the
chapter wide communication.
So I do PR for the chapter.
I do social media and I work on our MS
Connections which is our quarterly magazine
for those living with MS. And for any
of our chapter members that are looking
to get information about the chapter.
And then the other end, I work on the
development side and I do volunteer engagement.
So I'm in charge of volunteers
for the entire chapter.
We have a couple of different
mass market events.
Those are our big fundraisers like Walk MS,
Bike MS, Muckfest MS which is a mud run,
and then I do also volunteer
recruitment just for the general chapter.
So office work, administrative things.
We do a couple of different like committees,
the board engagement, things like that.
So it's kind of both ends
are a little bit different
and then they all kind of
relate back to the community.
