>> My name is Mark Dragon.
And I work for Wolf Films.
And I am a producer on Law and Order, SVU.
There is no typical day for
what I do working on SVU.
We have lots of pieces of a puzzle to
try and get the shows ready for air.
So, you know, some of the
things that I do consistently
on a day-to-day basis is making sure
that the files from New York are getting
to Los Angeles in a timely manner and correct.
And I'll work with the assistant editors.
With the editors.
With the producers in New York with any sort
of visual effects coming
up, or you know, questions.
Editors cuts.
Directors cuts.
Or you know, getting cuts ready
for producers in the network
and the studio to see and work through.
And I do a lot of multi-tasking
working with music.
Color correction.
A lot of the post-production elements that go
into making the TV show ready
to be delivered for NBC.
The atmosphere is fun.
You know, we don't wear suits.
We don't -- we're not very,
you know, it's very flexible.
But the hours are long.
You know, I get in in the morning
anywhere from 8:00 to 9:30 and I can stay
at night anywhere from 7:00, 8:00, 9:00.
Sometimes I stay till 11:00 or midnight,
depending if we have to deliver a show
and we're getting something done.
So yeah, it's -- the atmosphere's good.
It can be very stressful.
But I think over the number of years I've been
doing this you kind of get used to the stress.
You know how to manage it and take it in
stride and you know, take care of business.
