>> My name is Carlton Langley.
I'm an industry principal for
professional services for SAP America.
As an industry principal
for professional services,
I'm more of a business development person.
I support our sales organization.
Typically, our day consists of working with
what's called our account executives or what's,
which is a part of our overall
virtual account team.
So with that, we'll have, let's say, a
potential sales deal that we're working on.
With that, we may have some account strategy
sessions that we need to work on together.
So this might be folks from
all over the country.
So I'm based in Philadelphia.
We might have folks from Cincinnati.
We might have folks from Germany, but we all
come together on this virtual account team
to really talk about, you know, the needs of the
customer and then how we're going to, you know,
essentially, go into that account and
tell the customer what is, you know,
what our software can do for them
to make their business run better.
Hours are interesting.
Typically, my day starts around 7:00 AM, and
there are days that it ends early, before five.
There are days that it runs late, but most
of my time is spent working from home.
I'm, I have a home office, but
I also work in Newtown Square,
Pennsylvania where it's a little
bit over an hour from my home,
and traffic going into Philadelphia or going
towards Philadelphia can be tough at times.
So I choose to work from home mostly, but,
you know, a lot of the things that you can do
within the office you can do from home as well.
Going into the office is really a good thing,
though, because that's one of the areas
where you get to really understand what's going
on not just on the accounts that you're working
on but on others that, you know,
they may need your help with.
So going into the office really gives you an
opportunity to network with other employees,
get to see clients and customers that's
in the building, and really understand
and get a better pulse of what's
happening throughout the organization,
but I would say I primarily work
from home, and the hours vary.
You know, working from home is, gives
me the flexibility to at times be able
to do some things on, from a
personal level, but, you know,
primarily I would say my day is generally
from about seven until six, you know,
and with breaks in between depending on
what's going on for, with calls and so on.
