>> You know, this is a chance when
I really get to help my community,
and that may sound a little
altruistic, but it's-- it's sincere.
I just like doing that, and
honestly, if I had had a chance
to do this thirty years ago I
probably would have, but you know.
In government things are different in terms
of getting a new job, from the way they are
in commercial world, because in government,
it's not like somebody puts out a hand
and says shake it and you got the job.
No, no, no.
You need to be deliberate
about, hey, I want this job,
I'm going to interview for it, et cetera.
And I never took that step, but
doing this now is really great.
And, well, for us right now, quite
honestly, we're not directly related
to federal government, thank heavens.
So when the shutdown happened
we weren't terribly effected,
but money is tight for local governments.
Local governments are cautiously
hiring again, but only--
and deliberately hiring if you know what I mean.
It's not, hey lets hire fifty
people because that would be great.
No, each-- each position
is considered carefully.
So, we have to do what we can with less.
I'll just put it that way.
