>> My name is Jacqueline
Robarge [assumed spelling].
I work as a human resources manager for one
of the largest manufacturing
of vinyl windows in the US.
So I'm a generalist so I deal with
everything from benefit questions
to employer relations, labor relations.
The plant where I work is union
facility and so I have labor with issues,
I deal with the union representatives all
the time either by phone or in person.
I have about eight people that report to me.
Three of them are generalist,
the rest are all HR coordinators.
With that we support a plant that has currently
1400 employee in the union, about 98 leaders
and two executives, that's what my group does.
So it's a pretty busy day and it
could range anything from, you know,
including worker's compensation
so somebody can have an accident
and my team usually gets
involved with that as well.
The company is also divided-- there's some
corporate offices as well so it depends.
So if you work in a plant.
So currently we have three shifts, so we are
pretty much, right now the work hours are,
24 hours a day, like I said it's three shift
and then the office it's regular 8 to 5 kind
of thing but you're never there from 8 to 5.
I usually get 7:30 and I'm not-- today is an
early day for me 'cause I have to come her
but usually I'm there till
6-6:30 in the afternoon.
