>> There's a primary track, and I spoke
to about 200 students last week on this.
What is absolutely essential and I
wish somebody would have told me this,
maybe I was too arrogant when I was at
Rutgers as my mother would have said,
the first thing you've got to do is you've
got to understand what your spirit is.
Oprah Winfrey talks about the fact that
most people work in jobs that are too small
for their spirits, so the first thing that
anybody's got to do, and it's wonderful
at the student level because life is before
you, is what is your spirit telling you.
What does your conscious tell you?
What is it that makes you hum
when you go to sleep at night?
Get that down and then build a skill set around
that and then build a job strategy search
around that because then you'll end up later
in life not ever wondering why you
did all the things that you did.
So speak to your spirit first, speak to your
character, your competency and then build a bias
for execution so that you can
execute against your dreams.
