>> Hello. I'm Candice Oluwole.
I'm a Records Coordinator
at Greenberg Traurig in DC.
The major part of my position
is transfer others.
So, anytime an attorney is
transferring out or a client wants to go
to another firm, I review the electronic data.
We have the bills.
We have the time.
We have the actual preparation for the trials.
We have the exhibits.
Anything filed, we have he engagement letter,
the retainers, what it is that when we engage,
would you-- this is what you're getting,
your hourly rate, we have all that.
We have the info-- any information that comes
into that firm, that's paper and electronic.
We have-- We're able to get.
Anytime they transition in, we create labels.
We don't cover up their label
from their previous firm.
We just add ours on there and in the note
section, put a GT prior, non-GT work product,
and we put the name of their firm.
So, we know that they're bringing this in.
Usually, when they bring them in, they are not
assigned the client matter number right off
the bat.
So, we use their 99 number which
is their general overhead number.
Also, anytime a new attorney comes
in, we give them a location code
which is usually their initials
and then they have another one
which is whatever office they're in.
So, once their secretary does start processing
labels for them, they're already in the system.
I also assist on training new secretaries if
they come in on how to use the Label Requester
and how to use the database, any questions that
they have, if they need to look up prior labels
for the secretary who used to be there.
I help train them.
