>> I would say, looking at -- watching the
hundreds of corps members I've watched,
the probably number one thing is
keeping a strong positive outlook.
Being able to -- regardless of the
challenge, being able to look at any challenge
as an opportunity, being able to see something
and be able to focus and remain calm and look
at your assets, and acknowledge that you have
deficits, or acknowledge that there are things
that are going to be tough
but focusing on your solution.
So being solutions-oriented, being positive
and optimistic, that will get you through
and really support success in anything.
After that, I would say a strong
perseverance, you know, just diligence,
being able to work -- you
have to work really hard.
There's no shortcut.
You just have to work really hard.
But always looking for the positive
in things because, when it gets tough,
there will always be a lot of people venting and
there will be many moments of realization of,
"Wow, it's pretty obvious why
there's an achievement gap."
And there is a lot to complain about
and a lot to get negative about,
and there will always be
negative things around you.
So being able to stay positive and
influence positivity in others.
