>> Thank you notes, that's honestly the biggest
thing that I would say, through the process
as you know we mentioned that we talked
about networking and talking to people
and getting advice is you know I
think the biggest thing nowadays
and you mentioned social media you know we
forget those are instant gratification type
of moments.
You know if you write sit down, you meet
with somebody, you learn something important
from them make sure you thank them.
You know write a thank you note.
Write a personal thank you
note to say thank you.
I really appreciate your time
and I really learned a lot.
You know that's something that you know
makes you stand out from other people.
Throughout the process and you know with
my experience in while it's been brief
but I've had the opportunity to see
multiple resumes come by in my office,
I've seen many resumes that have come by
those of other offices and you know to stand
out might just be one little thing.
So you know I'd focused on making sure your
resume is you know intact, you know making sure
that if somebody is making that
introduction for you that they hold you
at a level make sure you
are exceeding that level.
You know you don't want to be the person
who they felt bad about bringing in to
that situation so do everything, from the
resume to the follow-through make sure
that if you're trying to get into a
door you are covering all the bases.
