>> So I went to USC, and I studied international
relations and then I followed up with a master's
in leadership out of the School
of Policy Plan Development.
I chose -- well, my history is actually
that I was a really bad high school student.
I barely graduated high school, and I ended up
walking my friend to East LA Community College.
He wanted to enroll.
I was just accompanying him and I left the
campus enrolling myself into some classes.
And that completely changed my life.
I got involved in student
government and was very active.
I had a full-time job, a full load,
and then active in student government.
And I realized that I had, I was being
empowered with these amazing tools.
So when...
I was ready to transfer, USC
was really my only objective.
That was the only place that I actually
wanted to go, and there was no question
that if I didn't get into it this year that
I would try again and get in until I was...
attending classes here.
It's been the best investment.
Every day it, the return
on investment, I see it.
Just the network is so powerful and the name
brand -- the brand, the administration here,
from Steven Sample to our new president,
they've just been phenomenal in terms
of really increasing the weight
and respectability of the school.
And it was, it's just been the
best investment that I've made.
It just keeps on paying dividends to date.
