>> Well, I went to school at USC,
University of Southern California.
I graduated in '07 and studied Mechanical
Engineering as well as a minor in Film.
So I just loved-- I like math and I liked
making things so I thought that was engineering,
so I really love the Engineering Program here
at the [inaudible] but I also love storytelling.
So for me it was the perfect combination
of this artistic side of me as well
as a way to make those ideas practical.
After I graduated, I spent a couple of
years traveling, shooting my own films
and just collaborating with other artists.
I really gained my own style
of photography and film.
In that interim I had-- well during school I had
entered a design competition called Imaginations
Contest and that was sponsored through
my engineering and so I was brought
in as a finalist and then actually won
first place and it was through that,
that I was able to meet a bunch of the
Imagineers and learn what the company was about.
So then after I graduated doing my own thing,
one day I just got a call I was about to go back
to grad school but I received a
call from Disney and then decided
to accept a job as an Associate Producer.
