>> I love it when I see people growing.
This morning I had a lady here who was sharing
with me an issue, and, actually, a lady,
her husband was here as well, and she left
realizing she needed to get into counseling.
And, to me, that was a huge breakthrough.
So, I am just, I am confident that she's
going to be growing a lot in the next,
it's going to be tough for her, but I
think she's going to grow, so, you know,
when you see people growing and see
people growing in their faith, and serving
and not just wrapped up in their own lives,
but realizing there are other people here, and,
you know, it's more than just
about me, me, me, I, I, I,
that spine-tingling sensation that, you know.
And then when you do give and when you
serve, it comes back to you and there's a,
there's really an enrichment
that happens to the person.
Now, there's some fine print,
in the contract as well,
and what I don't like about
my job is the desk work.
[Pause] You know, as a priest, we are
responsible for the, the entire plant
and the operations and all that, and we have
a business manager who's wonderful, but,
ultimately, the buck stops here, so
there's other things, you know, the,
the administrative part of the job,
some priests may like it, I do not.
I'd rather be, I'm a people person, I like
working with people, that's what gives me life,
that's what energizes me, and makes a
difference, so, I, I like it when I can get
out of this office, and get into
people's homes and get out with people.
It is a little frustrating sometimes when
[pause] people have every opportunity
with scripture study or courses or service work,
and they choose not to take advantage of that
and yet they're looking for
something more in their life.
