there were some different directions I could go;
I could either do collections management
or you could do kind of hands-on treatment
and both directions are great but if you want
to stick with more of the collection side,
you should look for a program that
specializes in sort of preventive conservation,
collections management, hands-on work.
And then possibly look for a master's
degree that can add a little bit to that.
I also looked for a program
that was a little bit smaller
so that I could have more
hands-on with my professors.
One of my professors here, I still talk to
today, she gave me a letter of recommendation
for the job that I have now so it works
out well if you're in a small program,
at least it did for me so I could get
some one on one with my professors.
