>> My name is Connie Bartlett.
I'm a pediatrician and my current employer
is Saint Joseph Heritage Medical Group.
So a typical day for me, I come to
work - I'm a part-time physician.
I'm a mother, so I spend a lot of my time
after work taking care of my teenagers.
So my day starts at 8:00 and ends around Noon.
So I come to work maybe 30 minutes prior,
going through my schedule to see who's coming
and just get myself oriented to my day.
And then the patients start
hitting the floor around 8:30,
so I start seeing patients immediately.
And it's about 15 tops [phonetic], so
I see a patient every 10, 15 minutes.
It depends on the problem list and what's ahead.
Sometimes it takes a little longer and sometimes
it takes a little less, but I end the day,
I hope to be done, by 12:00, 12:30.
And that's when my clinical work's done and
then we start with phone call, messages,
check the labs, check any miscellaneous things
that happen during the day
that I'm not aware of.
And then my day typically
ends around 2:00, 2:30.
It's chaotic.
It's a pediatric office, so you can imagine,
there's kids running around, screaming, yelling.
So it's fun.
It's chaotic in a fun way as long as you're
not afraid of little guys running around,
spitting up on you, wiping the sticky
hands on your coat or your clothing.
But it's a - the medical group has
been an excellent learning ground,
learning ground for me in the beginning
and they're very supportive,
the physicians, you know.
We're very - we're allowed
to do what we do best.
