is hone your passion.
And that sounds like a cliche but, let's face
it, that's what the artist is going to say.
It's a little over-exaggerated and cliche,
but you need to realize what got you
into the arts in the first place.
You need to keep that passion when someone
puts a paper in front of you and says,
"You have to assess the student
learning outcomes for that class."
Don't say, "Oh, I don't do that.
I just inspire; I'm just an artist."
Realize that you're end goal is to inspire
in that passion and that anything else
that you have to do to make
that passion a reality, do it.
Anything. Sweep floors, as the saying goes.
Do anything you need to do to
make your dreams come true.
