>> What I love most about my job
is that we're building a business,
hiring of people, giving them good careers.
I joined Dell when we were about five or six
billion dollars in revenue in the mid-90s,
and at 65 billion when I left 15 years
later, and so we were constantly building.
And in many parts of the United States,
other parts of the world, where we went in
and created a center and started hiring people.
You could see what a positive
impact you were having on people.
I did job creation and career
development for people.
It's extremely rewarding.
Some of the most challenging things
was, it was in the technology industry.
Things change very, very rapidly
in the technology industry.
We made a lot of good decisions
and grew our company very rapidly.
We made mistakes, too.
It is both the love and the challenge
of that industry that's always changing.
You always have to try to see what's around the
next corner, and you get it right sometimes.
You don't get it right sometimes.
So you're always on your toes in the
technology industry, and in the end,
I think that's what a lot of us get hooked on.
