>> Be realistic.
That's something, I think I catch to learning
sometimes is know what you're capable of doing
and what you can conceivably
do well in the time you have.
If you have trouble because of a
variety of things on your plate, stop.
The two or three minutes you take to look at
what's in front of you and what has to be done
and figure out the best way to approach that,
it will save you so much pain in the end
because you don't want to get to 4:45 in the
day, and while maybe the scatter shot day,
still filling that in your brain.
You wanted to say, "OK.
Well, I made progress on this, this and this.
I've finished this."
That moves up, we ascend on that tomorrow.
But just take the few minutes to do it.
It really shouldn't take a long
time to figure out what's important.
And maybe if you have that much on your plate,
maybe there is too much, maybe it is a time
where you step out and say, "You know what?
I have this much this to do.
I really just can't handle these two things
so I'm going to take it off my plate."
Now, go talk to yourself about it.
I mean, most of you would prefer you to say, "I
got a little bit more than I can handle them."
You try to do them all and
they don't get done well.
So, just be realistic.
