>> So I graduated from Penn State
University from the Smeal College of Business
in 2003, with a degree in marketing.
I think that to take a step
back, leading to that decision,
I started as an undergraduate
in the Eberly School of Science.
So I certainly went through a
change that I think is very common
for an undergraduate student who's deciding
exactly what path they want to pursue.
In the end, I'm very grateful
that I made the switch.
And it has helped prepare
me for what I'm doing now.
My first job out of college was working
at the Vanguard Group out in Malvern,
Pennsylvania on the institutional
services side of things.
Great company.
It was a great introduction
to the world of finance.
And I realized by that experience,
that working on a sort
of a business-to-business basis was probably
not where my personality's best suited.
I went to something that
was a bit more personable.
And ultimately that is what ultimately
led me to switch from working
from more business-to-business side of things,
to direct -- essentially to an individual.
