>> I think any kind of human services is
terrific to be able to work in, you know,
assisting students on any level that you can.
I think getting work study in position
in a career center would be great,
taking advantage of the career center, taking
all those assessments that are available
and really seeing what it feels like and if you
could see yourself helping somebody in that way,
but and of course in terms of graduate
school, you really need to work
in career services you really
need to have your Master's degree
and it really helps to have that.
We have people in our career services
office with MBA's, with law degrees,
with higher education degrees,
former teachers all over the place,
so it's an area where the
variety, your variety of,
the variety of your background is appreciated,
you don't have to just go through lock-step
through a graduate program and then go into
career services; that is a little different
than a lot of things in the student life range
realm, that come into it for whatever you want,
anyway you want to and there are a number of
people that come in after having careers for,
you know, ten years and then decide they
want to come in and be a career advisor, so.
