>> My name is Charlene Hunter and
I'm an attorney, a fairly new one.
I graduated from DU in May of 2009 and I
have my own solo practice here in Denver.
I practice family law, landlord/tenant
and HOA issues.
I do some non-trust estates or not, what I
call non-tax estates, a simpler estate planning
for people and some small
business and non-profit.
My previous business background is in
business and non-profit so I do a bit of that.
When you have your solo practice
I, I actually work totally alone.
I, I don't have an assistant
just yet though I'm on the verge
of that but, I, it means I do everything.
So a day could be coming in and meeting with
clients, could be spending a lot of time
on the phone, very often it's going into court.
That's been 2 or 3 times this week and
that court could be anywhere from Denver
to north Adams County and Brighton
down to Douglas County and Castle Rock.
It could be all over the place.
And, and then there's a lot of writing
and documentation in doing that.
So no day is ever exactly like another day.
I, you know, this is my third career and
I'm a mom of 3 kids so if I'm not doing kind
of 2 things at once I feel like
I'm not, I'm standing still.
So, yes, I think anybody else
would think it was hectic.
I think it's just kind of pleasantly
full but, yeah, I, I'm never board.
I am never board [inaudible].
