>> Well the best advice I give to any
student, whether we're interviewing
or I'm mentoring even, you know, I have a
niece at Penn State, is keep your options open.
Right now whether most of us believe
it or not even, even maybe at my age,
we don't really know what we want
to do with our life, whether we're,
so I believe that major is important and classes
are important and they can lead you to a place
where you can set yourself up to
have a lot of different options.
One of the reasons I like accounting as
a major is generally speaking you leave,
you leave a school with a trade, you're
employable, and you have an opportunity
with a very broad, you have a
very broad set of opportunities
that you can take you throughout your career
and as you move from 18 years old and you go
to college to 22, you sort of figure out what
you want to do but when you move from 22 to 25
and onward to 25 and 30, that's really where it
comes into shape as what you really like to do,
what you want to do, where your passions are.
So my, I would encourage any
student to keep their options open.
>> Yeah.
>> And it's not so much what classes you do or
what organizations you're in but demonstrating
that you are actively involved
in taking on leadership roles.
