>> It's, it's tough.
You have to be persistent.
You have, you know, persevere.
You have to be very patient.
But the bottom line is get
a strong support system.
One thing about working events and doing
sports is that things are name brands.
Sounds good, you know, to work for the
Bobcats or the NFL, NBA but what's behind it?
What is the, what, what value
do you bring to it?
The good way to break into it is to volunteer.
Every major event needs volunteers.
That helps you build your
base so as you're applying
to jobs you can say I've done A, B, and C.
>> Mmhmm.
>> And they will hire you based on that but once
you get in a good situation and you understand
that you're working for the NFL and not for
a marketing firm that's working with the NFL,
you kind of want to stay there, plant your
feet, and just kind of work with the company.
>> Right.
>> Because the more you [inaudible]
yourself around the further away you'll get
from the [inaudible] opportunities because
people see you as being a job hopper.
>> Mmhmm.
>> And that's not what you
want to be in this industry.
>> That's a great.
