law school from a fairly young age.
My father was an attorney.
And he also had attended Penn State
and earned an accounting degree there.
And he had attempted to directly to
major in accounting because he felt
that that was a good foundation for.
Not only a good foundation for law school, but
a good foundation for any type of business.
So I had done that at Penn State.
And it turned out to be a great foundation
for me because it gave me a lot of flexibility
in terms of my ultimate direction
in my legal career.
But it was also a great background just
for having that alongside my legal career.
I had worked for 2 years in public accounting
at the old Coopers [inaudible] which at the end
of '99 became Price Waterhouse Coopers.
So I had done that and during that
time, I had passed the CPA exam.
So when I started law school, I had my 2 years
of experience that's required
to have a CPA certificate.
And was off and running at law school.
