>> The best of way to make an
impression, a positive impression
on me is to number one be very clear.
Do say informational interviews
but set up sessions
with the clients that you'll be serving.
And I look at your boss as a client.
I look at colleagues as clients and
then you may have specific people
that you are providing information for or
doing a job for so having, setting up sessions
with them to understand what their
objectives are, what are the things--
when someone meets with me and says, "Hey,
when you think about work what are the things
that keep up up at night and how can I help?"
That makes a great positive
impression, so that's number one.
Number two is setting up some very specific
objectives and goals and then following
through on them and setting
deadlines and if your unable
to make those deadlines saying you can't
but when you will and why you can't make
that particular deadline but follow
through is really, really important to me
and if you say you're going to do
something then you need to do it.
