The days are pretty different.
I get to see all the projects
that are coming in.
Before I would be involved with
one project from start to finish.
From the design, the actual
investigation of the first part.
Writing design reports, doing the
calculations, working with the drafters.
Making the drawings, writing up specifications.
I did all that, piece by piece.
And now I get to see multiple projects
come in because I'm only at the end --
they've already done all the
designs so I get to check
and see all the different
projects going on in the city.
And they're nearby.
And I'm involved with them and it's a
little bit lower stress than consulting was.
So people are nice I work with.
It's a nice city to be in.
