>> You know, again, the elevator speech, right.
You want to have a 30 second to a
minute that you can say to somebody.
I always make a rule of thumb and I tell people
to try to get the person that you're meeting
with or you're interviewing
to talk more than you do.
And you may not in the end.
But if you go in with that mindset,
you'll be smart about making sure
you ask the questions of them.
Because most people like
to talk about themselves.
So I think you go in with your 30 second
elevator speech, make sure you get that out.
And then you ask a couple questions about them.
I think first impressions are really important.
So you want to smile.
You want to, you know, be dressed the right way.
You know, and then just listen
to what they have to say.
And if it's a connection, you
can always ask for that order.
Always ask is there, you know,
a way we can say in touch?
Is there an extent that would make sense?
Is there a way I can find
out more about your firm?
You know, something like that.
