It's a professional courtesy
and I do it as well, I tend to,
particularly in my community business,
send personal notes and postcards
and little acknowledgements that way.
It sounds very old school and very
traditional but that extra effort is enough
to say this person is respectful
of the time that was taken so,
yes I think you should follow up, even as,
email is considered informal at times for that
but I would take that over not
hearing from someone at all.
