>> Networking is such a critical thing, and
it's a great opportunity that Penn State allows.
As I mentioned, my opportunity and my
professional career was pushed forward
by a professor that was able to reach
out and make the contacts needed for me
to get an interview at this design firm.
And I've tried to pay that forward
as much as possible being an alum.
Being able to recruit other
Penn Stators into an office
that before myself there hadn't
been any Penn State students,
but understanding that the caliber of
people that come out of our program is
up there among you know the elite at the top
of the undergrads and really in equal line
with some of the graduate
programs in Landscape Architecture.
I think that reaching out and trying
to keep up those connections back
with the program has been a
very important thing to me.
