>> Well, it's a great opportunity, I think,
to help educate the public about our freedoms.
And I think that's really the best way we can
to -- the best way to preserve our freedoms.
There are a lot of countries around
the world that have a bill of rights,
but they don't have a mechanism for enforcing
the bill of rights and their freedoms.
And we can help teach the public about our way
of government, the three branches of government,
an independent judiciary, which
I came from, before this job.
It was that opportunity to weave in
that experience from the judiciary
with that this organization is doing
that really attracted me most to it.
And what I enjoy quite a bit about it is
the ability to help educate the public
about those -- the importance
of the independent branches
of government in preserving our freedoms.
