>> What I love most is that I get to interact
with the people that I'm actually helping.
I was formerly in international development.
So the programs that I was working
on were much further removed
from the actual people that they were helping.
And then also I loved being
able to get out and about.
Not having to sit at a desk
in front of a computer
for 8 hours a day, it's really fantastic.
I mean, I can go to a site and
see the coupons being distributed.
I can see the coupons actually
being redeemed at markets.
Seeing people get fresh fruits and vegetables.
So, I think it's really fantastic.
And some of the challenges include kind of
your standard government bureaucracy issues.
Lots of paperwork, lots of
forms, things like that.
And but besides that, it's
really, the challenges are more
of limited resources more than anything else.
So right now in the current economic climate,
state budgets are being cut,
federal budgets are being cut.
So it's always a matter of
being asked to do more for less.
