>> Hi, my name is Billy Hewitt.
I'm the owner of powerstrokehelp.com,
and I also own a brick
and mortar shop Power Stroke Specialty.
And the only thing that we work on is Ford
Power Stroke Diesel Trucks, F250, 350, 450s.
This is a business that if you're going to be
into it you've got to be a physical person.
You've got to be hands on.
If you're behind a desk kind
of person this is not for you.
Because if it's hot out you're going
to be hot, you're going to sweat.
If it's cold out you're going to freeze.
If it's raining you're going
to need to get inside.
But you're out in the elements a good bit.
But the money in this business is outstanding.
The reason why the money is so
good in this is because technology
of these engines has changed tremendously
over the last really ten years.
And in Ford land they had four different
engines from 2000 to the older 7.3, 2000,
then in 2003 they went to what they call the
6.0 engine which is a really good engine,
but it has certain problems with it
that powerstrokehelp.com is
solely dedicated to solving.
I have people who have come
from all the country.
In fact, I just got back from Salt Lake
City working on a ranch with some people
who had 40 trucks out there that they
were trying to figure out what to do with.
So this particular engine from Ford
if you were to buy a complete drop
in engine for this truck is about $14,000.
So the guy behind the wheel who's
saying, oh nothing happened,
I was driving down the road minding
my own business and it blew up.
Well, that's not usually completely true.
So you I think the frustrating part about
the business is to cope with the people
who simply just aren't forthright
about what really went wrong
because they're afraid they're going
to get fired or whatever you know.
