experience is probably the biggest
thing that I think you can do.
So whether that be research, or if you want
to teach, or if you want to be a counselor.
I think getting experience and doing the things
that, you know, really help you figure out,
okay that is something that I want
to do, and two, are you good at it?
You know, sometimes I think I watch somebody
come into the lab into the summer time,
who is an undergraduate, we have interns,
and once in a while we'll have an intern
who is like, you know, this isn't for me.
And so you don't know that
unless you get the experience.
So trying to find opportunities to see
if this is something that you really,
really want to do, I think, is key.
But also all kinds of experiences.
I mean, just because you like research doesn't
mean you wouldn't like something else too.
So you know, I would use my time wisely.
