>> So I went to Millersville University,
my major was speech communications.
I changed it 5 times, ended up with that,
and then my option was in public relations.
So I got a lot of experience in PR 4.
We did a big campaign in downtown
Lancaster called Transitional Living Center.
We worked with them, we changed the name,
but the most important part is
that I did an internship at QVC.
So I worked in their training and development
department and I got a lot of insight
and different experience there so
I highly recommend internships.
So my career path is very different when
I graduated from Millersville I worked
with a recruiting company and ended up working
for a plumbing wholesaler in Centerville,
which is in Lancaster, and I worked there for
5 years and I ended up doing some training
for them for products that they
had but also selling in the market.
So I went from toilets to television, it's
so funny, but now I'm at Fox 43 for 8 years
and I found them also through a
contact that I had made in Lancaster.
